Just wanted to say not a day goes by that I do not thank God for Castaway Critters -- it has been one year since we adopted our cat and he is the love of our lives! I think often of what life would have been like for him (if he lived) if Castaway Critters were not there to rescue him and provide a loving foster home until he picked us out at Petsmart in Harrisburg (yes, he chose us!) He is a bright, obedient, loving, playful, funny, cuddly, amazing cat and we are so enjoying having him in our lives! Thank you for making that possible!

In honoring the memory of our beloved cat Abigayle (17 ) we decided to give another little girl a forever home. We adopted Jelly, 6 month old black and white DSH. She has adjusted so well and loves the full steam runs around the house and then colapses on the sofa for a nap. She has bonded so well with our 5 year old Toby (cat). They are best buds. Best of all we all snuggle together at night. Thank you for a wonderful organization and allowing us to adopt our new little girl.

Our latest addition to the few dogs we already have is "Daisy" - she is such a sweetheart -- loves all the other dogs and adores the kids (and us) - it's hard to believe that dogs as sweet and lovable as Daisy get destroyed everyday. We love her very much !!

We just adopted a Treeing Walker Coonhound named Paulina. She is the sweetest most lovable dog I have ever met. It was love at first sight and she is melding in very well here with our other fur baby Guinness who by the way, has taken quite a liking to Ms. Paulina! Thank you Castaway for all that you do and for us all being at the right place at the right time! Shannon and Paul Andreas

Beefy (now named Brady) was a six mo old Bichon Frise when I adopted him in January. He has blossomed from a frightened guy to an outgoing friendly happy dog. When I brought him to Florida with me it took him about a week to decide he was safe. Now everyone calls him "the mayor" because he greets everyone and loves every dog. I am beginning to think I should have named him "romeo"!! He loves to give kisses. I am so happy that CastawayCritters allowed me to adopt him. Or is it that he adopted me! Thank you, I will always take good care of him.

On 1/14/08 I adopted Beefy (now Brady) a pure bred Bichon Frise. He was 6 mos old and so scared. It took him only a short time to warm up to everyone, then I took him back to Florida with me. He has blossomed! We call him the "Mayor" of my community. He loves everyone and every dog he meets. He is just the sweetest guy. He loves to give kisses, maybe I should have renamed him "romeo". Thank you CastawayCritters for allowing me to adopt him. Or did he adopt me?

We adopted Bailey (the boxer/mix) on Dec 9th 2007. He has adjusted very nicely, his name now is Roscoe. Training is going very well, he's really a smart puppy. He is housetrained and can sit, stay, down and even rolls over. He still needs some practice but I feel alot of progress has been made in such a short amount of time. Thanks for the wonderful Christmas present and keep up the great work.

Just wanted to thank you for allowing us to adopt Daniel Boone, the beautiful Russian blue kitten. We renamed him Casper and now he is getting along great with his 2 older brothers. He thinks he is the dominant cat and we love his personality. I recommended Castaway Critters to my coworker and she adopted a kitten too.
