Sheree was brought into a shelter in WV with her 5 pups, reportedly dumped at someone's home. She is such a sweet girl with black on her upper lip that looks like a chocolate milk mustache. Very, very loving. Wonderful. She was very skinny and dirty upon arrival and it appears she has not had a good home recently, if ever. Now Sheree has arrived in PA and her foster home very excited to start her new adventure. She has mastered house training and goes to the door to indicate her need to potty. She is now working on general home etiquette and progressing nicely. It seems unlikely she has had anyone truely care for her yet in life and possible she never spent much time indoors. She seems to do fine with the cats in her foster home although again hasn't had exposure to them before so is prone to chase when they run. Sheree seems to very much enjoy most of the other dogs she has met and they are teaching her to play appropriately. She spends alot of time playing with the puppy in the home who is about half her weight and doesn't even reach her belly. She does play roughly so would do well with a medium to large dog. She does well in a crate and has not had any accidents in her crate. Sheree loves attention and quite possibly this is the first time she has gotten loving and gentle treatment from people. She will sit and just lay her head on your lap relishing her ears and head being rubbed and petted. Sheree simply melts into you when she is getting lovins. Her energy level is moderate so will need daily excercise like a long walk or play in a yard where she can stretch her long legs, but will not need constant physical activity. She seems to enjoy playing with toys and loves chewing on bones, stuffed babies and rubber kongs. This is a big, sweet girl who just wants to enjoy a dog's life with good people to love her and spend time giving her head rubs and cuddles. Please visit Sheree at adoption events on Saturdays or submit an application to meet her. You won't be sorry, this kid has alot of potential and desire to please.
