Check out Tinkie's new summer haircut! Too adorable!!
Sweet little Tink is a very happy, friendly girl. She had spent her whole life with a family who paid back all her years of love and companionship by dumping her at the shelter when they moved. It is difficult for any dog to endure the loss of their family and home and to be abandoned to strangers. The ordeal was even more cruel for Tinkie because she is blind. But with true doggy spirit, Tink has moved on and she is waiting patiently for a brand new family who will love her for the rest of her life the way a real family is supposed to.
It's true that Tink is a senior, about ten years-old, and she is blind but she doesn't let either of those things slow her down. She adjusted to her foster home within a day or two. She is very friendly with everyone she meets and she gets along very well with her four canine foster sisters and her four feline foster brothers. Tinkie is so joyful and full of life and she can be quite a little clown. She loves belly rubs and she'll throw herself on her back at the least indication someone is willing to give her one. With one of those faces that just makes you smile, she is as cute as a bug in a shaggy, Wookie kind of way. She is very brave and loves exploring the fenced-in back yard and sitting in the sunshine at her foster home. Tink enjoys being a girl on the go. She loves going for walks and does incredibly well on the leash. She's always ready for a car ride, too. But she's also content to hang out at home, especially if snuggling and belly rubs are part of the deal.
Tinkie is such a wonderful little girl and she deserves to spend the rest of her life being loved and appreciated. She is accepting of everyone, children to seniors, as well as other dogs and cats. She is just waiting for that special person who is willing to look beyond her age and blindness to see all she has to offer.
