Maybe it was because of Deco. When I was a young adult, I took in two older, stray kittens who were litter mates. I loved Midnight, who was the traditional sweet and cuddly cat. But it was Deco, the aggressive but lovable little diva, who stole my heart. Ever since then, I’ve had a soft spot for foster cats with an “attitude.” Like Sheba.
Sheba -- who is quite photogenic! -- was found as a stray in the city of Harrisburg. That might be one of the reasons why she can be somewhat aggressive, giving me little nips from time to time. But she also watches for me from the living room window and greets me as soon as I walk in the door. She loves to lap sit. And she sleeps with me at night. I just adore her! Sheba was very much the dominant cat when she first moved in. Since then, however, she’s become very tolerant of other cats and has become the playmate of several of her feline housemates because she loves to wrestle and loves to be where the action is. She’s never far from my sight. Sheba is spayed, current on her vaccines, and microchipped and has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. If you have room in your heart and home for this slightly-naughty but oh-so-lovable girl, contact her foster mom Annette in Harrisburg or complete an online adoption application.
