Jillian is a sweet and beautiful young kitten that loves people, other cats, and dogs.
Jillian is a unique little girl because she has two extra toes on each of her front paws and is therefore known as a polydactyl cat.
Here is a little history on the polydactyl:
Nobel Prize-winning author Ernest Hemingway was one of the more famous lovers of polydactyl cats, after being first given a six-toed cat by a ship's captain. Upon Hemingway's death in 1961, his former home in Key West, Florida, became a museum and a home for his cats, and it currently houses approximately fifty descendants of his cats (about half of which are polydactyl). Polydactly cats were considered to be good luck.
Jillian will make some person or family very lucky if they chose to adopt her. They would be even luckier if they would provide a forever home for her and one of her sibling
Gregory whom she loves to run and play with. Originally,
Jillian had two other siblings as well, they were adopted together into their forever home.
Jill loves attention, both giving and getting, and she is a champion purrer. She likes to be held and loves kisses. She is not shy and is very curious and outgoing.
Jillian has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is spayed. She is up to date on age appropriate shots. If you would like to meet or adopt Jillian please complete an application online and/or contact her foster mom Carrie at catbooth7@yahoo.com for more information.
